Today, flue gas analysers are in regular use in many countries for control of emissions and optimisation of combustion processes. There are many different types in use and this is a short description of their use and some of the difficulties that may occur connected to their use. A section compares continuous monitors with portable flue gas analysers. Examples of operating manuals are given with short descriptions in other languages and links to companies in various countries that can give further information. There is also a section on the use of biogas and the measurement technologies needed to use this fuel efficiently. A list of links to further information is supplied at many places and will be updated regularly. This site will never be completed, it will continue to grow!
