It has been more than a year since President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in Colorado. Colorado has been allocated more than six billion dollars. Roadway improvement projects employed over thirteen thousand people.
Jobs were preserved in Colorado correction facilities and public colleges and universities; researchers at Universities across Colorado retained or hired more than two hundred full‐time equivalent jobs.
The Colorado Office of Economic Development helped private companies create nine thousand new jobs and hold onto 4,700 jobs in the New Energy sector.
