Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc. TSX (NTB) announces the formation of a very
significant commercial partnership with NASA Food Technology Commercial Space Center (NASAFTCSC). NASA FTCSC works in partnership with Johnson Space Center to develop food products andfood processing technologies for space and commercial applications.
NASA FTCSC expressed a clear interest on the nutritional and antioxidant properties of Neptune Krill Oil TM. The agreement reinforces Neptune’s efforts for the continuous development of novel
products with health benefits aimed to address today’s health problems and lifestyle. The agreement stipulates that:
NASA FTCSC and Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc. will:
- Work to develop novel Neptune Krill OilTM nutritional products for space and terrestrial use;
- Provide a brief, written quarterly update and annual summary of all activities between
Neptune and NASA FTCSC;
NASA FTCSC was established in 1999 to lead a national effort in developing foods and foodprocessing technologies that enhance space missions and advance commercial food products through joint efforts with NASA scientists and technologists, commercial companies and academic researchers.
