Vampire Facts And Myths

Ok so we will start off by saying there are different types of vampires. There are basically only four kinds; real vampires, fictional vampires, role playing vampires, and a medical condition that makes them have certain tendencies.
There is a disease that is very very rare, but does cause people to be "allergic" to sunlight. The disease causes them to have no pigment in the skin and therefore, cannot go into the sun because it will burn them extremely easy. Also, they have a lack of iron in their blood, which can make them crave other peoples' blood because of the iron that is contained within the blood.
Second, are the role playing vampires. These are people who are just acting. They may talk in a certain accent, dress in certain clothing, all just to pull it off. Usually, they wont admit they aren't vampires, because they are so commited to pulling off the role which they are playing. They aren't trying to fool anyone, they are just role playing.
Fictional vampires, are the vampires that were made up thanks to Hollywood. The allergic to light, crosses, and holy water kind of vampires. All of that is just myths, started by hollywood and movie makers to sell movies and books.
And, finally, are the real vampires. Yes, there is such a thing. Are they murderous beasts who only live for blood? No, in fact vampires are human, and they aren't immortal. They have religion, hopes, dreams, just like the rest of us. The only thing that makes them different is they need the life force(Also known as prana or chi) that they can get from humans. Now, there are different types of vampires, categorized by the way they go about getting this life force that is needed.
First you have energy vamps, who get the prana needed through the energy that is all around us.
-Pranic vampires get their prana from sexual energy.
-Elemental vampires get their prana from the elements, such as a strong wind, rain, thunder, storms, etc.
-Psychic vampires (psi or psy for short) get their prana taking it from another person mentally, hense the name "Psychic vampire"
-Then you have the vampires who actually drink blood. They drink blood, not because its blood, but beacause of the life force contained within the blood. These vampires are called Sanguinarian vampires (sang for short).
Also, you cant be "turned" a vampire. You are just born as a vampire, so either you are or you aren't. Vampires go through an "Awakening", which is the time they become aware of their abilities and their need for prana. An awakening usually occurs around puberty. Alot of vampires are in fact sensitive to sunlight, and during and/or after an awkening the sensitivity to sunlight may heighten and may continue for the rest of their life..
*Note:
Most vampires do have a donor , especially the sang vampires. It is very important that you are clean and you get your donor tested BEFORE drinking blood from your donor. These forums DO NOT promote going out and just finding a donor. You should always know the person you are getting blood from. Even if you know the person, it is always best to get them tested before using them as a donor.
