This is not an ad, but I want to alert you (THERAPISTS and CLIENTS), because I was face-to-face with this guy. He was in the Inland Empire raping primarily (don't think it can't happen to you just because your another ethnic background) Asian owned massage businesses. I happen to be of Asian descent (a mixed Asian), and so I guess that stands out if you are doing your research on "Asian Spas." What he did in my spa was try and hide in a massage room. I caught him. And then I scolded him about having to fill out an intake form, and paying upfront, and also scheduling him a massage. The detective said the best thing I did was act calm and rational. If you think you are the victim of this person DON'T HESITATE TO CALL THE LOCAL POLICE. He is a WANTED SERIAL RAPIST/ROBBER. Don't let him ruin your life or your business. Just because he goes to Asian places, does not mean he will not go to your place. If you are a husband or wife of a massage therapist, pass this story on to them. If you know someone who is TELL THEM. It is very important.
Please take care of yourselves, and check under all your massage tables and in the rooms, shower stalls, laundry facility, bathrooms, etcetera before you leave work. I'm in Fullerton, CA and the detective said just last week he hit up 2 Asian owned spas in Garden Grove, CA. Below is a Googled Cache of a news story from May 2004. I spoke to the investigator and she said there is a DEFINITE link and he is in Orange County, now. Who knows where he'll be next...!?
Fontana police search for serial rapist
FONTANA - Sheriff's officials are searching for a man they say is responsible for a string of rapes and robberies at massage parlors throughout the Inland Empire area.
The suspect is described as a black man between 25 and 45 years old, and 5-foot-9 to 6 feet tall. He was further described as heavy-set with broad shoulders, large thighs and a large buttucks. The man has short hair and is clean-shaven.
Over the past year, the suspect has hit massage parlors in Fontana, Chino, Highland, San Bernardino, Loma Linda and Colton.
Armed with a handgun, the suspect physically and sexually assaults female workers, often after tying them up with duct tape, San Bernardino County sheriff's officials said.
The suspect last robbed two businesses in Fontana and Colton on May 4.
All the man's victims thus far have been Korean women, police said.
Sheriff's officials are advising massage parlor employees to be on the lookout for a man matching the above description. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fontana Sheriff's Station Detective Bureau at (909) 356-6767, and reference case number 030402392.
