Accessorize your floral gift!
Adding accessories to your flower arrangement will make your flowers stand out!
This "Special Touch" will assure your gift is treasured. Consider asking your florist to add one or more of the following accessories;
Decorative Bows- Bows are a nice touch and are usually available in many colors. Your florist can put the bow right on the vase giving it more color and texture. Depending on the flowers being used you may want to let the florist select the ribbon/bow color to compliment the flowers in the arrangement. You might also consider using rafia. Rafia has a more rustic look that can add true flavor to your arrangement.
Plush Animals- Consider adding a little teddy bear to the vase. Your florist will probably have a variety of plush animalswith many colors and styles to choose from.
Mylar/Helium Balloons- Balloons are a great standard of celebration. Consider a Mylar balloon with a sentiment on it. Colorful helium balloons are also complimentary to Mylar balloons and they can be attached to the vase arrangement. Many florists offer balloon bouquets that can be delivered as well. Just keep in mind that large balloon bouquets probably can not be tied directly on a vase:)
Ting-Ting- This is a fun arrangement accessory. It is usually twig like and curly in nature and available in several colors, especially during holiday seasons. Several pieces can be tucked in to your flower arrangement adding dimension and festive color.
Full Size Greeting Cards- Many florists carry a variety of full size greeting cards for all occasions. Consider adding one of these cards to your arrangement instead of or in addition to the smaller floral message cards.
Accessorizing your flower arrangement is a fun way to personalize your gift. Ask your florist for details when you call them to place your order. They can let you know what they have available and can even give you specific ideas based on the occasion. They are the experts!
