STUDY ON PREPOTIENCY
This is a article to explain our study on this particular stallions ability to produce like or better than himself in order to be able to advertize him as being prepotient!!!

Go to Web Site

We decided after looking over his pedigree and searching for linebreeding that this stallion is Babson?Ansata/ RSI breeding, He resembles and imatates Sonietasolar RSI and as well the imortal Fahker El Din!

The first yr we bred him ,it was late in the year and we only bred 4 mares, 2-SE,,SO mares,1 Polish/egytpian/CMK cross mare, but we also were line breeding back to the grand sire and breeding first generation {pure in strain} and 1 1/2 arab pinto mare !

the resulting foals were so what we expected,

In our study we realized we had {1} to breed this stallion to many differant mares, breeds, types, sizes, etc, in order to begin proving his ability,,,,{2} we had to rebreed mares back to him to see if we got the same type, shape, size, foals ,,with the same improvments over the previous foals,,,ie: shoulder, head, neck, croup, tail carrage, and of course legs!

So we bred him to 2 SE,,AK mares tall very well bred,, another pinto NSH mare, and large 7/8 arabian mare with tons of Nazeer and Moniet El nefous, A morgan QH cross mare and rebred him to the pinto mare that had produced a colt by him, and a beautiful CMK mare!

As we began 2004 foaling season, we began having foals in jan, and as each foal was born we were honestly tickled to death, AGAIN this foal crop all the foals showed, size, better heads,,head set, neck, toplines, hips, better angled shoulder, and long pasturns and shorter backs,, no matter what the mother was!

Then to top the study off we started haveing foals from mares that were rebred to him!

So far the resulting foals are twins to the previous years foals! and i mean twins!

In our study, we take 10-12 photos of each foal, {1} so we can compare them to other foals born that year! {2} so we can also compare them to the previous foal from the year before! So far our results have been fantastic, EVERY foal shows the same improvements, and most are alsmost twins of each other with exception of color!

We have also noticed that this stallion stamps out white in his offspring,, even outof colored mares! For the record the most white on any of his foals are from the cross on the beautiful CMK mare Kiss Me Quick BWA who produced twins , both have beautiful white stockings and white facial markings, but,, both pinto mares have produced solid colored foals from this mateing, and again the second years foals was also solid colored! So far he only produces dark chestnuts,,black bays or blacks,, no greys at all even out of grey mares,

as weve bred mares this 2004 season for 2005 foals we again repeatedly bred to diverse mares and as well bred back the SE mares, and the NSH mare and of course added more outside mares to his season . So as this study prgresses into 2005 we will see his mares that have been rebred to see if the resulting foals look like this years foals and also if he continues to show the same prepotiency/improvements in the new foals,

To many times i have seen a stallion breed and the resulting foal is beautiful,, but when that mare is rebred the next foal looks nothing like the first, sometimes like the dam,, or even the grand parrents AND that is not prepotient, Our hope is to show the arabian world that by breeding to many diverse mares, and then rebreed those mares that if ALL the foals show the same improvements, are ion most cases better than the sire and dam, then we will prove this stallions genitic gene pool , and therefore there will always be some predictibility in any of his foals from any mare you breed him too!

this study will continue for 4 seasons, He now has 12 foals on the ground and you can definately tell they are his foals, in 2005 there will be upwards of 20 maybe more, and as each season comes we will continue to photo and compare each foal looking for what we have found so far!

NOTE}

here is what we have descovered so far in his foals,

{1} better heads, dish, jaw, jibbah

{2} better neck set on whithers

{3} shorter backs,

{4] better shoulder angle

{5} better hip and topline

{6} long pasterns

{7} straight legs,, ie: no offset cannons, cowhocks, elbows,knees,, good black solid fet

{8} ever foal also useses his rear legs to stop,, instead of the usual bouncing stop on the fron legs which contributes to leg splints

{9} and overall his disposition, all his foals are easy to handle and train,

NOTE}

A stallions ability to produce is what makes him a great sire, NOT what he himself looks like or what he has won in the ring, Many a famous race horse goes on to NEVER produce another fast racehore in there off spring, This stallion and our study thus far has given us proof that he produces and improves whatever he is bred to, from his genitic pool of some 63 horses he carries 37 of those in his blood, the close up line breeding of the RSI horses and Fakher El Din have pulled this genitic pool up even closer and we believe that he will contunue to brrred this way,,,,,after all if 12 foals look the same, then one must believe that he is truly a stallion that will benifit the arabian breed for the future,

We will see more as the 2005 season foals arrive!
