>>>Matthew 27:46-51 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli lama sabachthani?" that is, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, "This man is calling for Elijah!" Immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink. The rest said, "Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to save Him." And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
>>>***Jesus Christ who had constant communication and communion with God the Father since before the world began, was suddenly separated from God becuase He had taken on all our sins and died in our place (although He was sinless). God cannot look on sin because He is perfect. So with this terrible separation He cried out greatly as He did.
>>>***When the veil was torn, the barrier between God and man had been removed. When Jesus Christ rose from the dead three days later, we have forever more a living Mediator between God and man. As believers, we now have full access to all the power and treasure of heaven according to our faith.
>>>1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
>>>Acts 4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
>>>John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
>>>John 14:13-14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
>>>>>>We Are Not Under The Law But Under Grace
>>>Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
>>>Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
>>>***It was impossible for us to keep all points of the law, and if you offended in one thing, then the wages of sin is death. The sacrificing of lambs was to symbolize what Jesus did when He came to earth. He took our punishment in our place for our sins, which is total separation from God for all of eternity, although He Himself was sinless. And He rose again the third day having fulfilled our punishment in the eyes of God the Father.
>>>Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
>>>Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
>>>***So now we believing in Him and actually becoming a part of the body of Christ, can have fellowship with God and be with Him in the time to come forever more.
>>>Hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
