Hello and Welcome to our website: You're Lookin Good!

We have been in business for over 20 years selling toupee and hairpiece tape. This May, marks our first anniversary on the net and this venue offers a way of thanking everyone who has become our loyal customers. We have received many kind compliments, letters and even "thank-you" cards for our service, quality and fast email response.

We have researched long and hard to introduce other products to you, but could not find one that we felt would be worthy, until our very own Caroline discovered quite by accident a truly wonderful product. The following is an account of Caroline's discovery, and why she feels so strongly about sharing this with you.

Ads selling "Better than Botox", StriVectin-SD and Renaissance as well as hundreds of others are either appearing in your emails, or are popping up everywhere on the internet. You will see the new buzz words, Matrixyl, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 , Pal C18 KTTKS or Argireline. These ads can be very overwhelming and confusing.

QUITE UNEXPECTED .......

Several months ago, my husband and I were at a charity function in which You're Lookin Good is involved. As I was sitting down and relaxing for a few moments, I overheard a conversation between a man and two ladies about a cream that was supposed to be "state of the art", "the be all and the end all" and "nothing short of a miracle!" The gentleman had samples of a 3-part kit which he was giving his friends to try. I was very curious to find out what this was all about.

When I approached the gentleman, I found he was very reluctant to give me his last kit. He provided very brief instruction with it. Over the last several years I became environmentally sensitive to basically everything. No matter how expensive, or hypo-allergenic a cream is, I always find that it dries my skin, I break out, itch, or have some other reaction. From what I overheard that night, it seemed that, hundreds of test clients tolerated the cream with no reaction.

I was pleasantly surprised that I had no adverse reaction at all when I used the clay mask, the liquid activator and the rejuvenating cream. There was only a glowing, refreshing feeling from the mask and a soothing luxurious feeling from the cream. After a couple of weeks, people were actually saying I looked "happier", "rested" and "fresh and glowing!" I was delighted!

I made an appointment with the gentleman (Michael) in his lab as he wanted to get my opinions and feedback. I relayed all the information to him about how happy I was and he wasn't surprised. Apparently, at the Trade Cosmetic Show, held in Toronto recently, Matrixyl (the trade name) was completely sold out.

What's in this Cream?

The rejuvenating cream, which You're Lookin Good has named Crème de la Crème, is an upscale state-of-the-art breakthrough in the cosmetic industry. You will see a significant reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for both men and women. In fact, the study was clinically first started using a man. Women will notice that their make-up will apply much easier and will last longer. As a superb moisturizer, it increases moisture levels in your skin. Matrixyl's results far exceed Vitamin C and Retinol. When this is applied morning and night, together with our Ginger Root Clay Masque (once or twice a week), your face will feel and look glowing. Matrixyl's volunteers analyzed after two, four and six months confirmed that improvement of the skin is almost linear with time.

Matrixyl is a lipopeptide that stimulates the matrix molecules in the skin, particularly collagen and fibronectin. Simply, it sends a chemical message to the cells to make new collagen.( Collagen is a protein - through the natural processes of aging, collagen in the skin is lost resulting in wrinkles) Matrixyl is a fatty acid mixed with amino acids. The active ingredient in Matrixyl is called Micro-collagen which is a peptide. When applied to the skin, Crème de la Crème penetrates the deeper layers of the skin.

It is concluded from "Sederma", where our ingredient Matrixyl is produced, that after a wide range of tests carried out to study the cosmetic potential of the newly discovered protein fragment, Pal-KTTKS Micro-collagen, leads to remarkable results. Matrixyl with Micro-collagen contributes to the characteristics of a young, smoother less wrinkled skin.

Buyer Beware!

Make certain that Matrixyl is genuine from Sederma and not generic. Also to be effective, you need to have 5-8% of Matrixyl. Crème de la Crème has 10%. Also added are Vitamins A and E. Key ingredients are also Palmitoyl Oligopeptide ( which improves the resistance of the skin and builds up the moisture content - penetrates quickly) and Emblica.

Emblica, unlike the skin lightner, hydroquinone, has no side effects. Emblica has an exciting photoprotective property, which reduces collagenase ( a protein that attacks the skin which is increased by UV light.) Emblica possesses powerful antioxidant properties which increase skin hydration, reduce inflammation and help to preserve skin tone and integrity. It also lightens dark shadows and circles.

We did not include Argireline. Argireline based in Spain, works through an unique mechanism which relaxes facial tension with regular use leading to reduction of wrinkles. Quoting from Paula Begoun, who is the author of "The Beauty Bible" she states, "Argireline is a synthetically derived peptide and has been shown to moderate excessive catecholamines release. I strongly doubt that any of that is true because there isn't a shred of research substantiating any part of it. However, even if it were vaguely true, that would not be good news for your body because you wouldn't want a cosmetic without any safety data, efficacy documentation, or independent research messing around with your catecholamines. Catecholamines are compounds in the body that serve as neurotransmitters such as epinephrine, adrenaline, and dopamine. Epinephrine is a substance that prepares the body to handle emergencies such as cold, fatigue, and shock. A deficiency of dopamine in the brain is responsible for the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. None of that sounds like something you want a cosmetic to inhibit or reduce. What if you accidentally overuse the product or apply too much? It isn't known what excessive catecholamine release would mean for your body."
