Had a good experience with your recent move? My guess is it’s only the bad experiences and disasters that people want to share with others, and when someone is doing an outstanding job for you it sometimes gets forgotten. I wanted to share with everyone a splendid stress-free moving experience that I recently had. My move took place last Friday and New York – New Jersey Moving Company did a marvelous job! We had planned to move way ahead, at least four weeks in advance. We had a one bedroom apartment to be moved from Murray Hill in New York City to Jersey City, New Jersey, not too many things, but it took us good part of the week to pack all the boxes. Our estimation about the whole load wasn’t precise, because as we started packing the number of boxes just kept growing and growing and we still had a lot of stuff to pack. Nevertheless we were finally done packing and only waited for the moving team to show up.
Another thing was that the moving-in policy in the building to which I moved was strict and had many people scheduled to move in on the same day, the freight elevator could only be reserved for a two-hour time slot. I was worried that there would be an issue in meeting this schedule, but the NY-NJ Moving three men team took everything very seriously. The crew foreman called me as they were leaving their shop to put my mind at ease; they arrived on site early and worked enthusiastically throughout the moving process. They completed packing my large flat -screen TV-set, queen size bed, bedroom furniture and loaded all the numerous boxes into the truck in less than an hour and a half. Good god, we didn’t have to move across the state and just several miles, but I’m sure the movers would take the same precautions and responsibility in any of the cases. Then they had everything brought up to my new apartment using less than half of the two-hour time slot. To our surprise the whole job was done in less than four hours (my wife and I, we planned at least six hours)
We all know how stressful a moving can be, so one should always take into consideration what company to hire when making arrangements for the move. There are plenty of good reliable movers in New York City area, but for me NY- NJ Moving did it all. The foreman was attentive to any comments we had and the crew was amazing, extraordinarily efficient, professional and protective of my possessions. I want to thank everyone on the team for making this move so easy for us. I will recommend this company to everyone and will definitely use their services, if I ever need to move again.
