You can improve your Google page rank immensely by using a
simple tool, and lots of hard work.
http://www.seo-guy.com/seo-tools/google-pr.php?a=report%20 is a
friendly linking tool which at the moment is still free to use.
To start off with, Into the box for KEYWORDS, type in your
domain NAME, not the url. For example, talewins, and not
talewins.com Next, set the PAGES DEPTH to 10 for maximum, and
the PAGERANK to zero which will reach ALL, or up to 100,
whichever comes first.
The results should start with your very own front page. Over
to the right will be your page rank. Zero is lowest, 10 is
highest. Pagerank is determined by Google, and owned by Google.
The sequential numbers on the left simply tell you which web
sites Google would find first when looking for whatever keyword
you type in to the box. Why Google would find them first is a
secret known only to Google executives. What is important to
you is the pagerank of those pages linking to you.
And the first thing you want to do is make sure they ARE
linking to you. If they are linking to you and are not linking
partners already (for example, they are linking to you because
of your great content) then you definitely want to approach them
with some kind of linking offer.
Okay, why does that box ask for KEYWORD input?
Because it is a keyword enhancement tool.
Let's explore that facet for a few moments so that you can
increase your pagerank score at Google.
Let's say that you own the moneymaking page:
http://www.americaninsurancedepot.com/health.htm
It is making a thousand dollars a month for you and you want to
improve its pagerank by carving out a niche of keyword rich
content.
What are you going to focus on?
Health insurance would seem to be obvious. You type in Health
Insurance as a keyword
and bingo, you discover you aren't even on the first 100, much
less in the top ten.
Hmm. So much for that niche.
Let's try FAMILY FRIENDLY and then to eliminate all the other
categories of free available on the Internet you add the
keywords: HEALTH INSURANCE. Yes, put in all four words.
Bingo! There you are, numbers six and seven.
Now, let's look at your real keywords and rearrange them so
that FAMILY FRIENDLY is first in line. Boy, you had it sitting
there as keyword number twelve and it is your most important
asset.
One by one you test your other keywords out. We'll start with
FREE and then to eliminate all the other categories of free
available on the Internet you add the keywords: HEALTH INSURANCE
QUOTE
Bingo again. There you sit on the list as Number 16. This is
another hidden asset you want to open up and you rearrange your
real keywords so that FREE is moved up right after FAMILY
FRIENDLY.
Self employed turns out to be another great keyword for your
site. You rearrange your real keywords so that it is now in
third place.
After all your keywords are rearranged from hardest hitting
(for you) the next thing you will want to do is rewrite your
DESCRIPTION meta tag so that these subjects are mentioned in the
order of traffic grabbing importance.
Are you finished with your enhancement work now?
NO!
Now you rearrange and rewrite your actual page so that those
keywords and your description are reflected in your content,
AND IN THE SAME ORDER.
"WHEW! Now we are finished, right?"
I'm afraid not. Now we are ready to go to work.
We are ready to go to work INTELLIGENTLY.
You now know WHERE you already have
a toehold on the Internet and you have
rearranged and rewritten your page so that
the content reflects what you already have
traffic coming there FOR.
Your next step is to create links to that page from every
pertinent source you can get. First question: Do you have
any other pages ranking higher than four or so?
If you do, create a content enhanced link from those pages
to your moneymaking page.
For example, one of your linking partner pages is found at:
http://www.ShareYourState.Com/OK/robbers.htm You ask
the owner of that page for a link to your health.htm page with
the suggested copy of:
"Get the Family Friendly Health Insurance protection you need
before you take an adventurous excursion. The FREE quote
system found at American Insurance Depot is the BEST we
have found, especially for the SELF EMPLOYED FAMILY.
Note: The CAPS were used simply to reveal the keywords we
were focusing on. Do not use the caps in your actual link.
Also, note: As closely as you can get away with, make it look
as if the site you are being linked to from is endorsing you.
Repeat this process as often as possible.
