How to Approach a Girl That You're Into...
Learning how to approach a girl that you're into is crucial for your success with women. A successful pickup--or a successful relationship for that matter--requires a successful approach. This is because first impressions are everything.
But the approach is also often considered the hardest part of the process, at least when you're just starting out. It would be much easier just to sit and stare from afar at the girl of your dreams. This would entail no risk. To take the plunge, to overcome the tendency to cling to safety, requires real courage.
What you need is a method. When you rely on a simple method, you don't have to think so much for yourself, the approach becomes automatic, and nervousness dissolves.
The following are some proven tips I'd recommend if you want to learn how to approach a girl that you're into.
1) The key to approaching women is to do so in a NON-THREATENING manner that does not betray your real intent.
This is about by-passing a girl's defenses and flying in "under the radar."
Understand: Most women have trained themselves to just REJECT men outright when they sense a pick-up.
2) DO NOT HESITATE! Hesitation is a huge turn-off to most women. It conveys weakness. What you want to convey instead is strength. Remember: you are the ALPHA MALE!
3) Know what you're going to start the conversation with BEFORE you approach the girl. This will make meeting women much easier because you don't have to spend time thinking of what to say before you feel comfortable walking up to meet her.
Great lines simply engage women in innocent conversation. So asking her opinion on something and then talking about it is always preferable to a sleazy or funny line that you've seen on TV.
4) An important tip you should be aware of is to always approach a woman at an angle instead of charging towards her like you're going to war! When you approach at an angle, it's much less confrontational and you're going to subconsciously put the woman more at ease than if you approached her head-on.
5) If you're not comfortable approaching women, the best way to overcome it is to go out there and start approaching women right away! After all, practice makes perfect, right?
Don't be afraid of getting rejected when you do this. Look at it as a game and distance yourself from the outcome. You're not trying to get a date or get her into bed, your only goal is to talk to her and strike up a conversation. If you do that, you win!
If you find even this too nerve-wracking, try something called "gradual conditioning." This is where, in essence, you start out small and make tiny increments in difficulty.
For instance, you could start out by simply asking a girl for the time. Repeat this until you are totally comfortable with it. Then, push yourself: ask one for the time when she is with another man. Repeat until you are comfortable at this stage. Continue climbing up the ladder of difficulty until you are fearless. This is one of the best (but also one of the most time consuming) techniques I know of.
6) Finally, use a "time constraint" when approaching women. This is as simple as telling her you've only got a minute to talk to her because you've got to get back to your friends or whatever you're doing.
Effective use of time constraints will better engage the woman you're talking to, because she won't feel that she's committing to a time-consuming endeavor. Instead, you're only a momentary "distraction." This helps eliminate any reason to reject you right off the bat.
