When we train a dog using static electric stimulation we first want to introduce the pet to the boundaries using low levels of correction. These levels are so low the pet feels as if a flea is biting him oe her. Usually the pet will acknowledge the correction by sitting and scratching at the irritation
Once we have this level of recognition by the pet we can condition the pet to back up to avoid the irritation This usually takes only a matter of a few minutes and the dog is playfully avoiding the correction area.

The Perimeter product is manufactured in the US while the other two are manufactured in China by Radio Systems Corporation. The Perimeter product is made by the very same people who make Pet Stop but is available for the Do-It-Yourself er.
This product is built to very high standards and will function well.
Perimeter Technologies the maker of Pet Stop and the Perimeter Brand will be releasing a universal remote in the second quater of 2009. This remote will work in the fence boundaries and off site in the park. There will be two way communication between the remote and the receiving unit, which will indicate if the dog is beyond the 100yd range.
The remote will be capable of handling two dogs. The use will be to stop unwanted behavior such as digging in the yard, barking and counter surfing. It will feature a vibration mode, a warning mode and a shock mode. The remote will be able to be programmed to work with Pet Stop, Dog Watch, Invisible Fence, Pet Safe, Perimeter and Dog Guard.
