Steel Thunder Custom Cycles Expands for Third Time in as Many Years, Moves to New Marshfield Location:
Marshfield, MO (Press Release - updated) April 30, 2007– Steel Thunder Custom Cycles has moved into a larger building located off I-44 at 152 York Drive (behind Prairie Plaza and Shaffer Motors, next to Viking Fitness). They outgrew their former location at 1350 Spur Drive in only one year. “We have already filled the 4000 square foot building, and may have to add on next year if this keeps up!” says Kat, webmaster and co-owner of STCC. Several new employee positions have been filled in both the shop and office areas.
The new building features a much roomier store and showroom area, a large shop that works on Harley-Davidson® and metric motorcycles (including Goldwing®), and also houses the internet offices. They have also added a paint booth for custom paint jobs by T&S Enterprises. Steel Thunder Custom Cycles is now an official inspection station. They are also a licensed and bonded motorvehicle dealer in the state of Missouri.
Along with repair and service, the shop is able to customize and build motorcycles to suit the individual and to add performance components. Steel Thunder Custom Cycles is also taking motorcycles in for consignment sales at very fair rates, and has some available for sale at the time of this release.
STCC highly encourages all poker and benefit runs to use them as a stop. They also have a run board to post local motorcycle events, and will gladly put the information online on their Missouri events page.
Online and in-store orders can still be filled from all major catalog sources, such as Mid-USA, Custom Chrome, Drag Specialties, Midwest, V-Twin, Tucker Rocky, Parts Unlimited, Xtreme Machine Wheels, Kustomwerks and Mustang. In-store parts orders include Harley-Davidson and American Custom, Metric, offroad and ATV. “Our parts counter is set up like a bar, and we have lots of fun here. Customers like to hang out, look at parts catalogs, and swap biker stories” says Kat. “We’ve also added a children’s corner, so they can play while the parents shop.” The main online store is at www.steelthundercc.com. The new location is highly visible from the highway, and is packed with parts and accessories for Harley-Davidson® and metric motorcycles. They also carry biker gifts, Biker Betty Boop collectables, jewelry, gremlin bells, patches, helmet stickers, and much more.
Steel Thunder Custom Cycles is now working on a new website for Metric bikes, called Steel Thunder Metric. You can view what is online so far at: www.steelthundermetric.com. The site will contain products for Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, Truimph & Polaris.
