I don't know about you, but I have tried free marketing. Except for URL.biz , once, I have not been able to get results for my products anywhere. I tried "adblasting", Adlandpro, classifieds, blogs, rss, search engine submission, and even marketing to free lead lists and safelists. All for naught. I signed up with "viral" programs and loaded my computer with viruses while surfing to promote those viral pages. I clicked to read emails to earn money to advertise my own site but there were no nibbles. If it was not so painful I would have pulled out my hair. It was totally frustrating!
Is it my products, my wording, the hype that got me, or does this FREE stuff really not work?
There are many articles about free advertising and their authors swear that it works. They even parade entries into their egold accounts. What are they selling that people want so badly that they are willing to buy from free sites? I go through the ads I see. Some are interesting. Any ad offering something for free or a free opportunity with no strings attached ALWAYS ends up costing in order to actually work. Those honest up front, I could not afford to try.
Hotshot marketers beguile with wording in their ads that deceive the minds of those who think the material presented reflects exactly their assumtions of the words' meanings. They sign up quickly to become affiliates and find that there are not many people within the few free advertising programs they can handle in a day that give a hoot about this junk. How many times did I fall for some product or service that just did not live up to the glowing marketing script unless I bought an upgrade!
One little thing I have discovered, although it does not seem to work on the internet. If I recommend something for another person or business WITHOUT ANY benefit to myself, I can sell like crazy! Maybe that is where, on the internet articles help. Because in an article the autor is writing about their product or service or how it affects people, the environment, their car, or whatever, they are expanding the product or service knowledge for the reader in a non-hype way that gets the reader to thinking. Everything makes more sense and and the reader can decide without the presssure of now or never, of possible loss, and all the hype which does nothing but deceive.
My listing here is new and I look forward with suspense to see what will happen. The site I am advertising is actually my final solution. I borrowed some money in order to purchase the setup fee for a marketing company to promote my affiliate url through their own software which will saturate search engines with my url. In an introductory campaign they promise an enormous income before they expect me to pay them their introductory marketing fee. It was something I could just handle if I could be sure the company will deliver...... and I never looked back, except to write this article.
