Bluetooth Serial Port Plug F2M01C1
The F2M01 offers a replacement of the serial cable by a wireless link based on the Bluetooth technology. The serial port plug is a class 1 Bluetooth device with a very dense packing.
The unit gives a nominal range of approximately 100 meters. No external drivers are needed. A userfriendly Windows application is included so you can use it to configure the plug to suit your requirements. The F2M01 can be used together with other Bluetooth units that supports the Serial Port Profile.

Bluetooth Class 1 module, F2M03C1
The F2M03C1 module is a Class 1 Bluetooth device, which is surface mountable in an automatic mounting line or manually prototyping. It provides a full Bluetooth compliant device for data and voice communications. The interfaces to a host (UART and USB) supports full Bluetooth data rate of 723,2 kbps.
The module is available with a number of different firmware versions. The Wireless UART firmware implements the Serial Port Profile (SPP) with an easy to use command interface. All information sent to the serial interface is transmitted transparently via Bluetooth to the connected remote device.

Evaluation Board Class 1
The Evaluation board is designed to make it easy for customers to start using the Bluetooth modules we offer.
By default the Evaluation board is delivered with the Wireless UART (WU) firmware, but also available with other options such as headset and HCI, etc. The WU implements the Bluetooth serial port profile; data flows transparently through the serial port to the remote device.
The board currently supports and is based on the F2M03C1 modules. For convenience the Bluetooth module are mounted on a separate exchangeable carrier board (OEM Bluetooth board). It also includes a mounted antenna for your convenience and the option to use an external antenna through a SMA connector.
