impressed i have been with you, your company, and your service. not
only do you know your golf, but you also actually take the time to make
sure i understand what i am getting as well. that says a lot about
you. most people/companies could care less once they've made a sale,
or will tell you anything just to get the sale, but you have shown a
genuine interest in me and my golf game. i can't thank you enough for
answering all my questions and spending time on the phone with me. i
can't think of any other company that would go to the lengths you have
to ensure i get the best clubs suited for my body and swing. i still
haven't gotten replies from some people i sent questions to. you are

HERE IS THIS MEMBER ABOVES REVIEW AFTER GETTING HIS CLUBS, THE ABOVE E-MAIL WAS SENT BEFORE HE EVEN GOT HIS ORDER:
Got them today and just got back from the driving range. They are everything you said they would be and more. The job you did with my special custom fitting was superb, and the set looks like they should be on display somewere with a sign," This is how Custom Golf Clubs should Look", not like the stuff off of ebay.
I hit the ball straight and consistent with at least a 1 club to one and a half club difference in distance,just as you said would probablly happen as long as I let the clubs do the work. What more can I ask for? Thanks for the great
job you did with my clubs. Your time and effort really does show how far superior your craftsmanship is when you assemble a set of clubs. Will keep you posted on how my first round goes with them. So far, so good. Thanks again,

ATTENTION LEFT HANDERS... Welcome to your very own PERSONAL club outfitter. Greg is not only a master at his craft of custom club-making, he also sympathizes with us southpaws and how hard it is for us to get "the hook up" when it comes to golf equipment.
T-hese clubs are amazing. After having them TAILORED TO MY GAME, swing weighted/balanc-ed, and adjusted for my swing speed... I instantly saw the difference greg's work makes.
These clubs are solid, forgiving, and accurate. I used to hate my 3 iron... wouldn't even pull it out of the bag. We all have at least one club we know we won't hit well. This is not the case for me anymore. I have as much confidence (thanks to the feel in swing weighting) in my 3 as i do the ole pitchin' wedge.
And the accuracy in distance is really a confidence booster at address. I now know what I need from like 220 in. The distances are reliable and consistent. Greg's swingweighting really allows you to relax and just give a good swing. The club does the work...(we all know that's what we're SUPPOSED to do... but when you're still 300 out on a par five all you can think of is 'give it all ya' got!!') swing weighted/balanc-ed clubs allow you to focus on contact and watch it fly.
thanks greg... for everything you did, all your help, and especially your knack for catering to southpaws... there's one in texas who's playing better golf now because of it.

Well I have played three rounds now with my new Action Irons. The last round was my best in many years. The scores will continue to come down as I get used to the distance with these clubs. Now that I am getting used to the regular shafts the distance is coming and I have not been able to adjust yet. But I have a felling I will break into the 70's in the next few rounds. Thanks Greg for the advise and great set of irons.

I have now finished 3 rounds with my new clubs. Following your advise has really helped. I am hitting the fairway almost every drive and hitting straight and averaging about 270 yards. My buddies have not been able to match my drives. Plus it sure helps to make the holes shorter. Saturday was my best round of the year an 81 and it should have been in the 70's. I was hitting 90 or 92 per round and have improved each of the three rounds. I have not hit the 70's for many years and I am looking forward to it. Again thanks Greg your clubs are great with a good price and your advise priceless.

I've had the clubs for awhile, and my e-mail to Greg is also on the website, but here's my full review:
1) First off, the clubs are beautifully built and assembled. The balancing and swing weighting make a huge difference, especially on the long irons.
2) Greg knows his stuff. He set up the clubs so that I don't have to flog them everytime. I just slow down and let the club do its thing. Because of the way Greg set them up they fly straight everytime as long as I let the club work. Love the TT Lite shafts.
3) They're a little heavier than my last set (Graphite), but are night and day better than the old ones.
They may look like Callaways and play really close, but hey why pay more?

Once again a pretty club that I hated to get dirty and scratched, and what else can be said except here it is yet once again,
Thanks for the great service! The driver arrived in 2 days and it is really fun to use it. It is 30 yards longer than my "Perfect Driver" with no loss of accuracy. It has really made the game more fun, and it is by far the longest driver I have ever used. I can now go for par 5s in two when before they were automatic lay-ups."
I am still carrying the perfect driver and using it like a 3 wood off the tee, and I hit the heavenly knock-off as my fairway wood. I am enjoying it too.
I still think about buying the HRG driver just to mix it up once in a while. Your prices make it tempting to do so!
thanks again for the great service during my vacation! Thats right anyone reading this e-mail I called NYCG while on vacation in need of a Driver to help me pass up those I was playing with in a hurry, one phone call and a pay pal deposit and in 2 days I was doing just that. This is really like a family, you feel as if you are talking to a son or brother depending on your age bracket when dealing with NYCG.

Sorry I have not responded until now. This weekend was the first time that I have been able to hit the clubs. I went to the range and was very impressed with the way I struck the ball. I added about a club length to my distance and the feel was exceptional. The driver was sweet. It felt great and I had good distance out of it. I have about a 3/4 swing, and I hit the driver 275 to 280 consistently. I had much better control as well. I am very happy with the clubs. I went into the proshop and they had a set of identical irons. They are selling for $249 a set and they are not weighted as yours are. The pro was very impressed with the feel and the weighting of my clubs. I will tell everyone that will listen about you guys at New York Custom Golf. Thanks much.
