The zodiac is a complex scheme. When Venus loops upwards
and into Pegasus, it crosses Pisces on it's way to Cetus.
Thus Pegasus, Pisces and Cetus are defined as zodiacal
constellations. When a New Moon happens in Ophiucus,
this defines Ophiucus as a zodiacal constellation.
In this way we obtain 28 zodiacal constellations.
In 2005 the Moon, Venus, Mercury and Mars are in Cetus.

The Denderah relief also includes Orion and a variety
of extrazodiacal constellations, like circumpolar Ipy.
The egyptian Orion (Osiris) clearly follows Taurus.

The present zodiac defined by the IAU standards has 28 IAU
constellatons. This statement depends on Pluto being a planet.
When and if Pluto will be found a mere plutino, the zodiac
will have 24 constellations only. Needless to say, but the
zodiac changes with a shift of view, thus our pioneers in
outer space might be born with Sun in Cygnus, since all depends
on placement. The 16 precesseed ascendants for this epoch are
not the subject of this article, but can be inspected on the site.
It took two summer months and a miniature DOS program to inspect
into the nature of the zodiac. The IAU was informed. This body
sometimes discussess and rightfully dismisses astrology, but it
is perhaps interested in the zodiac. Thus what I'm presenting is
not any official IAU Zodiac, but the proposal for one.

A paradox happened after or towards the end of our research.
Thirty years ago a belgian astronomer researched into the zodiac
with the same results. A comission should be appointed to check
for all the zodiacal positions of the planets, the Moon, Sun and
Pluto; with modern tools. There were no computer programs thirty
years ago and my own research used rather primitive equipment.
Some zodiacal positions such as Moon in Auriga can challenge
even sophisticated astronomical software. My proposal would
include mathematical calculus instead of computer simulation.
The present all pervading zodiacs are of course pure superstition.
We used strictly astronomical values in our research. While on this
Earth astrologers lived and dies never knowing their own natal Sun's
positions, astronomers finally desisted from any friendly information.
Presently "astrology" and astronomy don't share the same skies.
Or didn't, since we reintegrated the two. The "astrological skies"
are so deformed that you can dispose of your natal chart without
further ado. It would take years to enumerate all of the errors,
from house placement to planetary placement. It is amazing that a
system based on superstition survived even the great discoveries
like Sedna in Cetus and Orcus in Hydra. But then again, the system
survived yearly positions like Sun in Ophiucus, and their Spica
Virginis is sill in Libra. Thus "official" astrology has Spica
Virginis in Libra and that's taken for granted. This must amuse
astronomers very much but is far from being the most hillarious
joke. When it comes to astrological consulting, the client's life
and decisions absorb all the superstition and massive amount of
matehmatical error. It is not always that they calculate with
poor precision. It is worse still. They calculate the wrong thing.
