On Vacation till April 2 2005
Hi everyone I will be on vacation until April 2 2005. I am going to Palms Springs,
Ca. to visit my sister!
I hope it's warm there this week. We are planning on doing a few things like the tram ride across to the mountains, which I can't wait to write about. And I will be getting a complete spa day at a Spa place there. That should be relaxing.
But as it should be I guess I will be thinking of new things to write about when I come back. I have some things in mind and will make sure I have some good articles about Palm Springs when I come back.
I will also give a review on the spa day!!
I am taking one of my granddaughters with me. She has never flown in a plane and I hate flying so this should be exciting. Maybe I will review the airlines as well.
Since they are a big company and their claims are that they are a great company.
Hell who knows what could come out of this trip!!!!!!

Spa Day
Lies all lies!!!! Did you know a spa day is only about 1 1/2 hrs... I don't think that's a spa day. My sister was kind enough to treat me to a spa in Desert Hot Springs, a spa owned and operated by the Miracle Hotsprings Spa. It was the spa across from Miracle itself but they do own it. Well I must say that althought the massage was great and the facial was nice(however incomplete) they gave me a hand parrifin wax in place of a jet tub detoxifying bath. This is strange, I really don't or can't equate the two. I was looking forward to the detoxifying bath, and felt cheated out of it. Since their flyer says that it is the centerpiece of their treatment. I know prices are higher in California but.........I can get a massage, facial, and a bath, a pedicure for the same price and maybe even a manicure for the price of this spa day! My sister paid 100.00 for the spa there. I say I received 50.00 worth of what they offer for 100.00. It's hard to complain about a gift because she did give it to me, but I felt since she loves these spa places she should know not to go to this one ever again or recommend it either. She said she was going to call them and complain, lets wait and see what they say. There products seemed good and the massage therapist was pretty good. But I have had massages and they always do your legs and feet and she did not. Maybe she ran out of time I don't know, but I always look forward to the foot massage part of the massage and I really didn't get it. However I have to say that she gave my upper back a great massage. My neck seemed so loose that I was getting a neck ache from having it so loose ( the next 2 days). I have fibromyalgia and my upper back and neck and shoulders are always tight and tensed up. So she gave a swedish massage that really worked it out. My rating for this spa would have to be a 4, I would never recommend it to anyone and I would never go back again. But I would hire the Massage Therapist with just a few inprovements on her making sure she gets every part that is normal for them to massage.
