My credit repair story
On April 2000 I was living in an apartment in Beaverton, Oregon. I received a flyer at my door from a mortgage broker with an offer I couldn't refuse. I set up an appointment. I was excited at the idea of buying a home but after my credit was pulled I discovered the depressing truth. A credit score of 561 came up. I knew my credit wasn't perfect but I didn't think it was that low. The broker said that a loan wasn't possible with a score so low. He then handed me a card from a Non-Profit Organization, the Oregon Justice Project.
He said they could help me get my credit score improved. I took the card and didn't think much about it. I was extremely skeptical so I didn’t really consider it. However I was interested enough not to throw the card away.
A few months later I moved back to where I grew up into a rental duplex. 18 months later business was going well. I was paying my bills on time and I knew it was time to buy a house. Thinking my credit was good enough by now I went to another lender to get my credit checked. Again I was disappointed. I asked her what the problem was and she began using a highlighter pen and marked where all the negative items were. I was stunned. My merged credit score had only improved 33 points in 18 months. I was doing what I thought was supposed to do to get my credit score up but what I was doing was not working. I also found out my Trans Union score was only 529. I had hit a wall.
My skepticism diminished when I realized that I needed help. I scrambled around the house to locate the business card I got from the broker 18 months earlier. Luckily I found it. I called immediately.
A gentleman answered the phone Valley Law Center, I asked is this the Oregon Justice Project , he replied that they work in conjunction with the Oregon Justice Project and provide legal services required to assist Oregon Justice Project’s clients. My mind was put at ease, Finally I get to use a Lawyer to do something positive like fix my credit report instead of defend me on a ticket or something.
Less than two months after I signed up for credit repair, four negative items were deleted and my score increased 52 points. One of those four included a paid civil judgment. I’m glad that one came off quickly. It was only a speeding ticket that I made monthly payments on but because I made payments on it, it went on my credit report and was counted as negative. I never missed any of those payments and I paid in full but it was still considered negative. I hated having to explain that to anyone that checked my credit. It was very embarrassing.
Then after those four negative records were deleted my other negative items just kept coming off. By April 2002 about 5 months after I started credit repair my Trans Union score increased to 659 from 529. A 130 point increase.
It was then that I realized that this is real!
Below are pictures of a few of my reports. My score started at 529 as you can see here. (it might take a minute or two to download these pictures if you are on a dialup connection. It's well worth the wait. You'll definitely want to see these.)
Below are some pictures that I took of my reports showing the DELETED negative items. This is proof that this works.
This Experian report below shows an account that's "NOT FOUND". That is Credit Bureau slang for, "DELETED". They sometimes don't use the word deleted for reasons unknown at this time. The Credit Bureau's are quite mysterious.
The report below is my final report showing a FICO score of 785. That is way above what is necessary to qualify for a rock bottom low interest loan. It was just going so well I wanted to go ahead and get all of my negative items deleted.
A family emergency came up around August 2002 so I stopped credit repair services for several months. I started again in November 2002. After that the negative items continued to delete off my reports. By January 16 2003 my Trans Union score was 760. A 231 point increase.
In March 2003 I received an updated credit bureau report from Trans Union. It was regarding an account FNANB/CIRC which was a Circuit City credit card. The record previously showed 6 times 90 days late, 3 times 60 days late and 2 times 30 days late. Clearly a negative record. However after credit repair was performed on this account it actually changed from a negative record and became a positive record. The payment history on this account was changed to, "NEVER LATE". I'm not sure how that happened but I'm sure glad it did.
By December 2002 my Equifax score was 707. Trans Union was 731 (TU went to 760 a month later). Experian was 693.
My current scores as of July 20th 2004 are as follows. Experian 723. Equifax 719 and Trans Union 769.
I just financed a new truck at 4.19% and got a Visa credit card at 6%. I’ve also been approved for a mortgage at 5.87%.
You can see the deleted records yourself. It's amazing I know, but it's real. I've told all my friends and family about this and some of them have taken advantage of it. Some haven't. The ones that haven't still have bad credit and are suffering the consequences of that bad choice. The ones that have taken advantage of it are enjoying the benefits of making a good choice. I'm not quite sure why anyone wouldn't do this. It's almost like they want to have bad credit. Doesn't make sense to me but it's too bad for them.
I feel really lucky that I ever heard of this. It changed my life forever and now I want to tell others about it. I truly believe that you are very lucky to hear of The Oregon Justice Project and that you are reading this right now. As you know your credit history can ruin your life or it can give you the life you want. Good credit can save you tens of thousands of dollars in interest payments. I understand if you pass on this. I almost did too. It seemed too good to be real so I put it off. I regret that now. I wish I would have called sooner.

And the best part is that once the negative items are deleted they stay deleted. They are permanently deleted! Every time I would get a new credit report in the mail and I would see "This item has been deleted from the credit file." I would throw my hands in the air and scream yes, yes YES!
