As another breeding season approaches, and 2 seasons are gone, with 12 exellent foals and more to come in 2005, and more yet in 2006. We feel that we have more than proven our point that this stallion can produce with predicitability no/matter what he has been bred to!
Thus far in 1-1/2 breeding seasons he has been bred to grade mares,, pintos, paints, NSH,1/2 arabian mares, purebred mares, polish cross mares, crabbet mares, and several straight egyptian {new egyptian} and several Se ,,So mares [old bloodlines}!
In our deligent study, every foal was photoed from the same angles at birth, and reevualated @ 3 months,,6 months, photos were studied from one season to the next, We noticed the same features and improvements in each foal no/matter what breed the dam! And very very little did we see any conformation faults show up, even in line breeding or breeding pure in strain! with the exception of one Se,,Sof mare that had a low set neck, and the resulting foal didnt have it,but did have a slight bump in front of the whithers and i refused to breed the mare for the owners again! [and thats being honest] and much to our surprize all foals had near perfect legs, feet, better shoulders, better toplines, longer pasturns, and over all nice heads and big jaws, with the exception of 3 that has exceptional dished heads!
We feel that what a stallion consistantly produces is far far better than what he himself has accomplished in the ring, after all,, a halter horse doesnt always produce halter winners,,nor a race horse promice you another winning horse!
Weve been accused during all this of puppy mill breeding,,,, of to cheap stud fees, all kinds of things, but we stuck to our guns and tried to show the world that as i predicted, that this stallion being so closely line bred on the dam side,,inabled him to be predictabily prepotient, and in many cases produced better than himself and the dam,,[and in my opnion thats what a breeder should want] a better arabian horse!!!!
this stallion has never been shown, but better yet he is in the publics eye all the time, from trail riding on the weekends, to all breed photo contests, to endurance racing, he has been a representative of the egyptian horse and simply wooed visitors with his disposition and overall beauty!
Will we show him,,, yes, we hope to take him to the Egyptian Event in 2005 because several of his foals that have been sold will also be there, and he is in training to do some competitive/endurance racing !!
In short,,,,,, we feel that after the 2005 foals, and the 2006 foals, we will have proven what we set out to do in 2002!
So ,,,,,,, at the closeing of the 2005 season, and as of 2006 we are not offering this stallion at public stud ! this means no more grademares, colored mares, mares of differant breeds, we will consentrate on breeding preservation mares, develop our own program around him,, his son, {that we retained] and a few daughters! and in pursuence of preserving the SE,,AK,,Shekyh Obeyd,Asil,, Heirloom bloodlines that are almost lost within the arabian horse!
We will continue our goal and post and write as the 2005 and 2006 foals arrive!!!!
