I have been browsing around again and have just come across this site which pays you to receive messages to your mobile phone, now I already get lots of messages from various companies or competition places. Sometimes I get them from phone companies seeing whether or not I want to upgrade my phone.
So my theory is I may as well start to get paid for receiving them as they get sent to me anyway.
All you need is a mobile phone and it doesn't matter if your pay as you go or contract, any network will do. This company pays 5 cents per message and sends you a cheque or payment into your bank account every time you reach $20. If you don't make the £20 in your first month it will roll over onto your next months account untill you reach the payment total.
The best thing about this is that it's an American based company which is advertising British companies products and has only just set up in Britain.
With only 650ish members here in Britain, this company could take off and you'd be on the ground floor so to speak.
You can join if you don't live in Britain too as they cover a lot of other countries to, just log on to see if yours is in the list.
It's called MakemoneywithSMS.co.uk and has been set up by Mark Read, whom you can email with any questions if your not sure about how all this works.
There is a FQA page which gives information and to join you fill in your name and mobile number, email address and then a few questions.
This is to see what your interested in ,so that you receive text messages from companies with your interests.
You will then be sent a text which gives you a comfirmation number that you have to type into the site page to comfirm that you have joined.
Then sit back and wait for the texts to come. It's as easy as that and you'll start to earn as soon as you get your first text message.
I like the idea of this site because it gives you the chance to earn a little cash, although your never going to make a million. Something for doing nothing has to be good.
Every little helps I always say and in this day and age junk mail, spam and text messages from companies should be paid for, as we're the ones on the receiving end and there's not a lot we can do about stopping the companies sending us the texts, so we might as well be earning from it.
