**************************A few words about ilovemorgans Yahoo Chatgroup!**********************

Many Thanks to Karen Burridge a true *Friend of ilovemorgans*

"Some of these other lists like *Positively Morgans* and *I Love Morgans*
branched out because, quite frankly, people are tired of all the bickering,
fighting and constant negatively.

Anthony is the moderator of the I Love Morgans list and magazine. Its a
grass root beginning with people of all backgrounds be it sport, ww, color,
or show. Its all embraced in the name of enjoying our Morgans and being
*positive* about their promotion. If you had the opportunity to observe
Anthony on the I Love Morgans list, you would see him very respectful of
others rights. He would *never* want to high jack this list. Please don't
jump to negative conclusions until you have information. This was either
the work of an outside party or some technical glitch or error. He is
passionate about helping people to promote their Morgans but would not
"intentionally" do something like this.

I can give a brief overview of the magazine for those who have not seen it
yet. The last issue of the I Love Morgans magazine featured a wonderful
story on Greentree Ranch. It was multiple pages long and I enjoyed every one
of them. It highlighted a lot of the original history of a successful
breeding program as well as wonderful personalized experiences of horses
close up such Bonita Graham, Stetson, Flying Jubilee, Orcland Don Darling
and of course Greentree Bonnijohn just to name a few. I never realized that
in the hay day of Greentree Ranch they had an average of 87 horses, stood 8
stallions and foaled 15-20 foal per year! This was both informative and a
most interesting read.
I also enjoyed the story of Calvin Hanson's retirement in that same issue.
(Thank you Calvin for all your hard work and dedication!)

In the present issue, there was a heartfelt story on Billy Dee Royal Hawk.
This was again a wonderful article of a bad story turned good with the
rescue of this lovely creature and some great pictures with his owner Gail
Bellamy. There was an article on the Florida Farm Tour as well as a feature
section for Morgans of Color. There was also a pictorial of "Black Beauties"
as well as a section on kids and their Morgans. Yes, there were also some
nice ads for "show stallions". We love our Morgans in their vast endeavors
whatever they are. Its a very embracing feel. Very refreshing.

I have a few issues left that I am taking to Summers End Morgan in a month
if anyone is interested. Subscription forms are available. I make no
apologies for seeing
"I Love Morgans" as a positive list and magazine for the promotion of *all*
the Morgan endeavors."
